A Folded Heart is a single player game involving answering questions about a relationship with an unspecified person and folding the page to reveal further questions and create a paper flower with the answers marked along it.

This game was made for the Try Folds Jam (https://itch.io/jam/try-folds-jam) and uses a simple lotus fold. To play this game you will need either a printer (preferably colour) and something to write on the page with, or a square piece of paper you can write the questions and answers onto yourself using the PDF as a guide.

If you are reading this I hope that you will try my game and have an enjoyable experience or just have a good day in general. This is my first time trying something with a layout this complex before and I haven't had the chance to test out printing a bunch so alignments may be a bit off so I hope you'll forgive my messiness.

any chance this could be reuploaded in higher quality? This super inspires me and I find myself using it a lot but the writing is very blurry when I print

Hi, first I just want im glad this inspired you, as for a higher res file im not sure at the moment since ive swapped computers since making this and im not sure if the original files got brought over however I will look into it and see if i can find a copy that can be higher res, might take a few days however.

I really really like the vibe of the game :)
and the innovative mechanic, I really feel that folding it into a flower, somehow "conditiones" the type of relationship I teded to describe..

but I have trouble unfolding the flower :(
I tried looking up lotus on the net but there are co many different folds...
could you maybe submit a little guide please ^^'

also for anyone trying the folds I suggest using a very thin paper, like the one used for origami ;)

Hi, Sorry for the late reply, i got nervous thinking about what to say and forgot. Anyway im glad you like my game, and thanks for the advice, though since i could barely get myself to finish this game for the game jam so I probably wont have time/motivation do develop much more on my own.

oh no worries !! I completely understand. And it's totally valid to leave this as is and move to another thing :)

I didn't intend to pressure ou stress you in anyway. I hoped to give some contructive feedback ^^'
